The cost per credits is $560 and it is $1,680 per 3-credit course. Educators who are currently teaching at a Christian K-12 school may receive a 25% discount on tuition for the Master of Arts in Education programs.

Admission Requirements:

  • Full Admission: Bachelor’s degree earned & 3.0 GPA
  • Provisional Admission: Bachelor’s degree earned & 2.75 – 2.99 GPA
  • Conditional Admission: Bachelor’s degree earned with approval to be admitted with a sub 2.75 GPA

Note: M.A.Ed. in Transition to Teaching admission requires a 2.5 degree GPA or higher, the below M.A.Ed. admissions documents, and completion of Praxis 1 Core exam OR eligible exemption.

Students may take up to six credits prior to acceptance to the program. Prior to acceptance in the Master of Arts in Education programs at Wisconsin Lutheran College, you must provide the following:

  • Recommendations: Must have two recommendation forms, to be completed by your employer or others, excluding family members or relatives
  • Personal goal statement: Describe your professional aspirations as well as your motivation for program enrollment and why you chose to apply to WLC for graduate school.
  • Transcripts and educational background checks are also required.
