The fully online Master of Arts in Education – Special Education Leadership degree at Wisconsin Lutheran College offers an opportunity for mid-career special education professionals to continue growing their career, with a focus on advanced methods for highly effective educators and leaders.
The Special Education Leadership specialization covers a range of traditional and innovative approaches to special needs education that supports high performance research, practical models, and data-driven decision-making for leading public and private K-12 education. Courses are offered on an eight-week basis.

Wisconsin Lutheran College offers several academic programs which lead to professional licensure in the state of Wisconsin. The special education leadership specialization in the Master of Arts in Education program provides the opportunity to receive an administration license (Director of Special Education license #5080) through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). All students should be aware that states vary in their educational and professional requirements depending on the profession.
